TOUR ITINERARY

On Day 1, fly from Delhi to Leh.
Our agent will meet you at the airport in Leh and transport you to the hotel. Due to the high altitude of Leh (Ladakh), which is 3500 meters above sea level, a full day must be set aside for relaxation in order to acclimate. You might have a quick stroll through the Leh Bazaar in the evening before returning to your accommodation for the night.

2nd day: Leh
You will leave the hotel for a full-day trip of Leh after breakfast. The two largest monasteries in this area, Hemis and Thiksey, will be on your itinerary. Additionally, you will see Shey Palace. In the evening, return to the hotel to spend the night.

3rd day: Leh
You will have a half-day trip to Spituk and Phyang Monastery after breakfast at the hotel. You will walk to Kings Palace, Leh Mosque, Leh Gompa, and Shankar Gompa later in the afternoon. In the evening, return to the hotel to spend the night.

Leh to Alchi on Day 4
You will go on a full-day tour to Basgo fort and Alchi monastery, the only flat-land monastery in Ladakh, after breakfast at the hotel. the biggest and most well-known of all the temples. In the evening, return to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 5: Sarchu – Leh (250 km, 6–7 hours)
You will travel to Sarchu via Upshi after breakfast at the hotel, crossing the second-highest motorable pass in the world (Tanglangla Pass, 5350 Mts.) on the way. Enjoy the natural grandeur of the mountains as you continue to travel into Moreplans, where there is a possibility to spot marmot, yak, and herb communities. At Pang, we take a break for lunch before continuing on to the rough, 5065-meter Lachungla Pass. It will be the coldest night of the entire trip when you stay in a tent at 4200 meters when you arrive in Sarchu.

Day 6: Jispa – Sarchu (84 km, 3 to 4 hours)
You will depart from the hotel for Sarchu, which is where Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh’s borders meet, after breakfast. You will enter Himachal Pradesh and arrive at the 4883-meter-high Baralachala pass after traveling for 20 kilometers. Additionally, you may go to the Dalai Lama Monastery, which was recently constructed as part of the Kalachakra Program.

Day 7: Jispa to Manali (138 kilometers; 5 to 6 hours)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will go for a brief drive to reach Keylong, the area’s chief district. We will stay here for an hour to explore the neighborhood bazaar before continuing on to Manali, where we will stop for lunch and to check passports. Continue climbing as you approach Rohtang Pass (3978 Mt.), then descend into the Manali area. We still have 51 kilometers to go to get to Manali. You will be taken to a hotel for the night after arriving.

8th day: Manali
Following breakfast at the hotel, you will go to ancient Manali to view the Manu temple and the 400-year-old Pagoda Temple of Hadimba Devi. One can go to the Vaishisht hot spring spa in the afternoon. In the evening, return to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 9: 244 kilometers (4 to 5 hours), Manali to Dharamshala
You will depart for Dharamshala after breakfast at the hotel and stop at the Triloknath Temple en there. When you arrive at Dharamshala, you will notice this location known as “THE LITTLE LHASA IN INDIA” in other countries. Since His Holiness the Dalai Lama first visited the monastery in 1960, it has served as his temporary headquarters. In the evening, return to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 10: 201 miles (3 to 4 hours) from Dharamshala to Amritsar
You’ll depart the hotel for Amritsar after breakfast. Our agent will transport you to the hotel after your arrival in Amritsar. You will go to the Golden Temple and the Wagha border later in the day to witnessthe flag-lowering ceremony at dusk. In the evening, return to the hotel to spend the night.

Day 11: Amritsar to Delhi *Please note that this is only a recommended itinerary.
