Day 1 — Travel Jaipur → Delhi → Fly / Train to Gaya / Bodh Gaya
Depart Jaipur and transfer to Delhi (or directly to a rail/flight hub).
From Delhi, take a train or flight to Bodh Gaya (Bihar) — where the Buddha attained enlightenment.
Day 2 — Bodh Gaya
Visit the famous Mahabodhi Temple, the sacred Bodhi Tree, viharas and monasteries.
Explore the meditation zones. Overnight stay in Bodh Gaya.
Day 3 — Bodh Gaya → Rajgir / Nalanda (optional)
Travel to Rajgir / Nalanda — historically significant Buddhist/ancient-university towns (depending on interest).
Day 4 — Rajgir/Nalanda → Kushinagar / Lumbini or towards Uttar Pradesh route — start northwards
Begin moving north/upwards: depending on route chosen, head towards Kushinagar (site of Buddha’s Mahaparinirvana) or travel toward Uttar Pradesh / Nepal side (if including Nepal).
Day 5 — Kushinagar (if route chosen) / or en-route travel toward Varanasi
If in Kushinagar: visit Buddhist sites there.
Else, travel towards Uttar Pradesh — plan arrival near Varanasi or surrounding region.
Day 6 — Varanasi — arrival, rest or local sightseeing (if time permits)
Arrive in Varanasi, check-in, rest. Optionally enjoy local cultural/spiritual vibe or prepare for next day’s departure to Sarnath.
Day 7 — Varanasi → Sarnath (near Varanasi)
Visit Sarnath — the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon after enlightenment, with historical stupas, monasteries, museums.
Explore archaeological remains, stupas (like Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, viharas, modern temples).
Day 8 — Varanasi Local / Boat ride on Ganges (optional) + Spiritual / Cultural sightseeing
Early-morning boat ride on the Ganges (if you want to experience local spiritual ambience).
Spend remaining time exploring local markets, culture or rest.
Day 9 — Buffer / Travel Day / Relax or Extra Visit
Use as buffer to accommodate travel delays, extra sightseeing, or rest before return journey.
Could also include nearby Buddhist-heritage sites or another local cultural experience.
Day 10 — Departure: Travel From Varanasi → Delhi → Jaipur
Return journey to Jaipur (via Delhi or direct rail/flight depending on available connectivity).
